Angoori receives a scratch card on purchasing a pack of soap. Calling himself lucky, Vibhuti scratches the card and wins the first prize which turns out to be a cheap glass replica of the Taj Mahal. When the gift breaks down as soon as Tiwari enters, Vibhuti calls him unlucky. Later, Vibhuti insults an ascetic for spitting on the road, who curses him into bringing bad luck everywhere he goes. Meanwhile, Resham Pal orders Happu to arrest Bittu, the thief who picks his pocket every morning.
