Kazuma Azuma and Kyosuke Kawachi are invited to Pantasia's annual Newcomers Competition, where the first challenge is to create bread that can stay fresh for weeks without molding. While Kawachi undergoes unusual training in hopes of developing abilities like Azuma's legendary Solar Hands, Azuma sets off on a determined journey to gather a key ingredient for his next Ja-pan.
