Together with Si Li, An Na has the young majie disguise herself as Xin Niang. A dejected Zu Ye leaves. Enroute to the temple, Shu Qin and Xin Niang run into a crippled beggar. He claims to know Shu Qin’s daughter’s whereabouts when she gives him some money. Shu Qin tells a doubtful Jin He, who goes to the Mansion.
