The Empress Dowager of Jinxiu and her son, the Emperor, scheme to keep control of Jing Shi now that he’s back. Prime Minister Zhuang takes control of the imperial court, planning to replace Sui Ge’s only supporter with his own. Things come to a head when the Prime Minister insinuates the Emperor’s current state is caused by Sui Ge.
