Meanwhile, Cana suggests to Lucy and Gray that they split up to search for the Seven Kin and defeat them so they can resume the exam. After Lucy determines the location of Mavis's grave, Cana knocks her out with a sleeping spell and abandons her to find the grave, leading her to be found by Kain Hikaru of the Seven Kin.
