Ashley has serious reservations about the content of Jasmine’s article and worries for his niece. Nevertheless, she meets with McNally and offers him her article in exchange for some work experience. He is tempted by her knowledge of the village and agrees to the arrangement. Elsewhere, Kelly is determined to escape the village after Jimmy rejects her. Paul appeals to Jimmy, who says that Kelly is only remorseful because she was caught. Sensing his failure, Paul returns to wave goodbye to Kelly. Also, Lisa reassures a worried Belle that the psychologist's tests will just consist of a few questions.
